The titular Dynamite Joe is the self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest Adventurer.” His grad assistant/documentarian would disagree. In DYNAMITE JOE AND THE BOX OF SECRETS, Joe and Raj stumble upon a cave that houses the titular Box of Secrets: a talking, ancient, mystical box that claims to house all of the secrets of human history. Weirdly enough, a lot of those secrets also sound a lot like conspiracy theories. We made this cartoon in 2015, but we think it’s (unfortunately) even more relevant today.
This was the first cartoon we ever produced, but Dynamite Joe has always stuck with us. We’re looking to expand on the DYNAMITE JOE universe in the future. The idea of a 1930s–style serialized adventurer in a modern era creates a lot of potential storylines, especially when Joe’s antiquated notions and overblown ego butt up against modern culture.
